Changing the Way People Think About Mediation
My passion for helping to create healthy family systems began during my time with the Ministry of Child and Family Development working with high-risk youth. I identified many limitations within the system that prevented social workers from getting to the root cause of family issues, but my hands were often tied and I couldn't create the change needed.
Let's Look At What We CAN Do
Instead of looking at the limitations of what can't be done, it's in my nature to keep excavating until I find new insight.

Throughout my career I worked in private care, immersing myself in the lives of the families I was supporting. I saw how each part of the family system was impacted by the other and where communication breakdowns led to the crumbling of entire systems.

This was the birthplace of my unique ability to hear each person, yet also see how their experience impacts the whole. I also saw how helpless children can feel when they're unable to express their needs.

Now it's my life's mission to support families to create healthy structures through major transitions like separation and divorce.
